Chef Jennifer Carroll, recent Bravo Top Chef finalist, will help take a bite out of childhood hunger in Philadelphia this summer as she will serve as Chef Chair for Philadelphia’s Taste of the Nation culinary fundraiser at the Loews Hotel’s Millennium Ballroom on June 21, 2010. Joining Carroll will be a veritable who’s who of Philadelphia culinary prowess, with top chefs from across the city and surrounding region coming together with top mixologists creating a fun and delicious event for a great cause. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a copious array of culinary excellence from the best-of-the-best restaurants, specialty cocktails, select wine, and beers from Stella Artois, Hoegaarden and Leffe. While guests mix, mingle, sample and enjoy, the best part of this decadent evening is in knowing that 100 percent of ticket sales supports Share Our Strength’s efforts to end childhood hunger.
